Where are they now?
A
Katie Allen  I would report on where I am and what I'm doing, but I'm only in Maine and just making it through my senior year in High School, so it's not much. But I'm fine, I'm drinking Moxie all the time to keep me a mighty Mainer!!

Gwen Aulerich  I would just like to say that camp was a tough learning experience for me, it was my first time at a camp anywhere and I was winging it most of the time. But I have to tell you it was the best time of my life. I am still in contact with Carly Holmes (Syndey, Aus.) who was a counselor in 1998... I am currently working on my Associates Degree in Liberal Arts at QVCC in Danielson, CT and I'll be transferring to Eastern CT State U. in the fall to complete my Bachelor's in Elementary Education. Being a counselor at PVC just helped me realize even more how much I want to help children and teach them to love to learn.
B
Corry Banton I have been traveling like crazy since I graduated from Antioch College in '95, including some big trips to Brazil to study capoeira which I am really involved in.  I have just finished a year of teaching second grade in Honduras, Central America.  I'm headed back now to Chicago to continue teaching.  I use things I learned from my 8 years at PVC all the time in the classroom!  We sing camp songs, play camp games and I'm sure my passion for karaoke has stemmed from talent shows of years past.  Seriously though, I do credit PVC with making me a strong girl centric leader and a decent waterskier.

Kate Bowie  I've gotten a dog, a special needs assistance dog for the deaf.... her name is Roxanne and she is a Beagle.  The cutest dog you have ever seen in your life . . . way, way cuter than Misty.. hee hee.

Nina Brilliant  I miss camp already and it is only October! School is going well and I am still playing rugby. Anyone who wants go visit camp let me know!

Laura Brown  Everything is going well here in PA...except that it's starting to get cold.  It was nice to hear about what people are doing now that the summer is over.  I am planning on going with Timree to Mississippi and South Carolina in late Oct. for college visiting.

C
Joanne Chapman  I've been living happily in Grand Junction, CO for the last couple of years. I have two jobs, one is as the recreation specialist at a residential treatment center for teenage girls.  The girls are having enough problems that they can't live at home. I work with the therapist to determine goals that they can work on in recreational activities such as camping, hiking, climbing, etc.

The other is as the outdoor director for a ranch learning center which teaches ecology and the arts through ranch and wilderness activities.

Much fun. Also, I'm going back to school! I just applied to Prescott College, so that I can get a Masters degree in Adventure-Based Counselling. I hope I get in!

I've also been climbing, kayaking, skiing, snowboarding and mountain biking when possible. Colorado's the best. Lots of love, I hope this note finds you in good health and good spirits!

Jamie Clark  Needham's as fun as ever. I've been sitting around, NOT worrying about college.  I heard from (John) Moise.  He and Chris and Rob made a grand appearance on TRL before heading back to the Motherland (I'm serious, I have the tape to prove it. John was wearing a camp shirt!) I can only assume they're all off to "uni" about now.

D
Laura Dalley  I've just got back to uni, where I'm starting my second year. Had a great two and a half weeks traveling after camp. A few days in Boston at Keith's (McCarthy) with Chris, Matt, Ken, Adrian etc, before flying to Florida with Christie, Matt, Chris, Rob and John T. We had such an amazing time; stayed for a week with Nurse Bob &co in Naples, then spent a few days in Miami which I loved- great weather! We then flew back from Orlando to New York. I visited a friend of mine at uni in NY, which was fun. I love America so much....I didn't want to leave!! Eventually I flew back on the 14th Sept. It's great to be back and see my friends and family again,  though. Please give my love to everyone.

Susan Daniel  I am in Cambridge, England, teaching and making coffee!! I am enjoying gloating over the English with the Australian success in the Olympics!!  Life is back to semi normal...
E
Pam Emery just found this website and am very excited.  I think of PVC often and wonder how everyone is doing.  I am still living in Monterey California and currently working for an educational publisher.  I would love to get in touch with old friends.

Eileen Engley After spending a year in Breckenridge, CO snowboarding and living the good life with another PVC alum, Ashley Hicks, I have returned to the East Coast. I am working in sales at a great company in Watertown, MA and living with my cat, Lucy,  in Somerville. I miss camp a great deal and hope everything is going well with everyone. Drop me a note if you get a chance. I would love to hear from everyone!
F
Natalie Fijalkowski  Just moved back to Oregon after 3 years in the  woods of S.W. Colorado!
I've been running around all over the country (and  Europe) being a gypsy and farming, backpacking, and even ice climbing! Currently I'm in Portland working for EF Education (an  international travel company) as a consultant (I send High School teachers and their students abroad). I'm planning on doing a sustainable  agriculture internship in New Zealand this fall but before that I want to make a  trip home to Mass. land. I would love to see camp and all you guys  too. Perhaps August?! I've randomly run into Miss.Marsha, Marsha, Marsha out here!
G
Laura Grohe  Boy, do I miss PVC, even after all these years!  I'm living in Greenfield Mass with a great guy, two dogs, and four cats.  Life is wonderful.  I own my own business, Peacock Wear,
making capes.  When not sewing I'm working at the Greenfield YMCA in the afterschool program.  In the summer I'm the Arts and Crafts Director at our YMCA day camp.  It's not PVC, but I love it.  Am still in touch with Kris Hall, which makes her my "oldest" friend.  She was my JC back in Villa when I was 7!  Would love to hear from other alums both in Western Mass and who I went to camp with!
H
Helena Halas  After a week of partying and spending too much $ in N.Y.,I went to Mexico for a month. Did the beaches, big & small towns, saw their real life & definitely tried ALL the food.  Now I'm back in N.Y, next week I'm going to visit Dan in Atlanta. Thank you again for a nice summer 2000.

Katy Henderson I am going into my senior year at Syracuse University, and will graduate in the spring with a dual major in Broadcast Journalism and Policy Studies.  I have been gone from PVC for about four years, but not from summer camp altogether.  I have moved around on the waterfront from head lifeguard to waterfront director, and still spend as much time in the water as possible.  And as I look back, I know that the people I met in my summers at PVC were the most amazing and most inspiring people I could have ever spent such intensive months with.  So, get in touch!  I would love to talk with other former and present PVCers.

Kelly Hetherington  Hiya!!! Have been living in Notting Hill, UK since Feb, just living and working in the hip hop travel spot. It was great. Managed to travel to Iceland, Greece and Turkey which were all interesting and exciting at the same time. Am just passing thru on the way home hopefully to do some site seeing and visiting. Will be great to be home for the summer and make plans for the next adventure....or maybe get  a proper job...???????

Ashley Hicks  I deferred from school for a year and lived in Breckenridge, Colorado with some friends from home, including Eileen Engley, another former PVC girl. This past year I was at Trinity College in Hartford, CT but I am transferring to Occidental College in Los Angeles next fall. I am going to major in psychology and I am very interested in animal training. Right now I'm living at home in Boston and working.

Chanel Hooper  Right now I'm at Brookline High School, finishing up my senior year and applying to colleges.

I
J
Catherine Jaroszewski  I hope that you all are having a wonderful summer, getting nice and tan and always smiling.  I'm living up in Burlington VT, interning as an Environmental chemist at IBM and enjoying the Green Mountains- I'm done in early August and hope to make it up to PVC for the land carnival and maybe a few campfires.  Hopefully, I'll see you there. Keep it simple!

Elissa (Lee ) Tobin Kaywork - I just found this website and was I excited to see one former alum from back in the day.  I now live in Northern CT and have been selling pharmaceuticals for 10 years.  I have two boys Max (6) and Sam (2).  I am still close with Peggy (Connelly) Mason.  Any former alums (CIT year 1982 or 83) lets get together.
L

Muffy Lake - I have been in Telluride, CO the last six years and just recently relocated to Manhattan. It is fun to be back east. Now that I am much closer maybe I can even make it North this summer and see all the changes. Best wishes to everyone and thanks to PVC for being such an important part and place for so many women and girls.

Alexandra Lapierre-Fortin  I've moved to Québec city about a month and a half ago.  I go to college there (St. Lawrence College) and it is my first year in health sciences... Briefly, I wanna go back to camp!!

Joanna Lore and Kerry Magee (90,91,92)-THE COUSINS-remember us?!!! Well after my last summer of camp(92) I moved to Atlanta where I started high school.  Then my family moved to Cary, NC where I finished high school in 1997.  From there I went to East Carolina University (PARTY SCHOOL- GO PIRATES!!!) in Greenville, NC and just graduated May 2001 with a degree in Exercise Physiology. Now I am continuing my Master's degree there in Athletic Administration.  Please keep in touch. Kerry and I want to come and visit.

Kelly McCown  Things in New Hampshire are going well.  I just started my senior year of high school, which is stressful and kind of scary (I have no idea where I want to go to college!).  I'm working at Dynamic Ceramics -- it's like arts and crafts all over again, and I finally have a car of my own.  I'm just counting down the days until next summer.. .

Ashley Messner  I'm just getting back from a sea kayaking adventure. The ocean is really cold at this time of year;)

I'm fine and safely back in Holland! I'm going to university in Amsterdam and live in a huge student house with really nice people. I just want to thank you for the best summer of my life! I met so many nice people from all over the world. I really love all the memories and pictures I have!
S
Kirsten Sorenson  It's getting hot in Brisbane, where I've been studying at the University of Queensland since February.  I'm having a wonderful time and meeting great people.  I've done a little bit of traveling, but I truly enjoy the laid back Queensland lifestyle.  I'm coming home in January to finish my last semester at UMass Amherst.  I miss camp a lot, and I had a hard time spending this past summer away from PVC.  I hope to return for at least one more summer, though.  Please keep in touch!
T
Sue Ticquet I am now working as a Manager in a Nursing recruitment company in London and am taking a break from law. Live in London, not glamorous, just very expensive! I have been here for about 3 years and enjoy it, but miss the carefree traveling lifestyle! Am planning to make it over for the reunion this year, so hopefully I will see many of you then.
